Fill vacant school posts timely: Min

Jaipur: Minister of state for education Zahida Khan on Tuesday instructed officials to fill all vacant posts in Vivekananda Model School, Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya and other schools in a time-bound manner.
“By month-end, a clear outline must be made for all the activities under Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan that will benefit students. Tenders must be issued for programs, wherever needed. Materials for sports and physical education must be purchased for schools, so students get opportunities to learn,” said the minister.
During the meeting, the minister also discussed about opening new schools, upgrading and strengthening schools, distribution of free uniforms and textbooks, activities related to innovations, Early Childhood Care and Education, ICT, Vocational Education,etc.
Mohan Lal Yadav, commissioner, Rajasthan School Education Council said there is a qualitative improvement in the achievements of all the components of Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan as compared to previous years.
