NCP: Sharad Pawar meets Supriya Sule, Praful Patel day after stepping down as party chief; Ajit Pawar not part of interaction

Day after his surprise resignation as NCP chief, Sharad Pawar on Wednesday set up an 18-member committee to choose his successor. Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar on Tuesday said that he has decided to resign from the post of party president. Sharad Pawar, a tall leader in Maharashtra, founded the Nationalist Congress Party in 1999, after parting ways with the Congress.
