A Massachusetts man has been charged with possession with intent to distribute fentanyl after authorities say he arranged to sell a kilogram of the deadly drug to a "confidential source" in Ashland.

Eddy Antonio Perdomo, 29, was arrested on April 29 at a parking lot in Ashland, according to a news release from the U.S. Attorney's office, which is prosecuting the case. He was a passenger in a car that had traveled to New Hampshire from Massachusetts to make the deal, officials said.
