In the Nifty index, Asian Paints Ltd.(up 0.96 per cent), Hindustan Unilever Ltd.(up 0.75 per cent), ITC Ltd.(up 0.67 per cent), Coal India Ltd.(up 0.64 per cent) and Adani Enterprises Ltd.(up 0.64 per cent) were among the top gainers.
On the other hand, Hindalco Industries Ltd.(down 1.66 per cent), Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(down 1.43 per cent), Bajaj Finance Ltd.(down 1.09 per cent), JSW Steel Ltd.(down 1.07 per cent) and Britannia Industries Ltd.(down 1.07 per cent) were among the top losers.
