Moderna plans to open an enterprise solutions hub in the Philippines

- Moderna (NASDAQ:MRNA) on Tuesday said it planned to open a hub to provide enterprise solutions in the Philippines to support the Asia Pacific region.
- MRNA said the hub would initially house finance, pharmacovigilance, medical, and HR personnel, in addition to commercial-focused roles.
- MRNA already has established enterprise solutions hubs in Poland and the U.S.
- "The Asia Pacific region is integral to Moderna's business, with established subsidiaries in Australia, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, and Taiwan," MRNA CEO Stéphane Bancel said in a statement.
- "We look forward to further solidifying our presence. The addition of the Philippines site completes our strategy to provide regional solutions across the business," Bancel added.
- MRNA also said it planned to establish a commercial presence in the Philippines and that it expects to employ about 40 to 50 employees in the country this year.
