CHC Kalyanpur gets NQAS cert

Kanpur: Community Health Centre (CHC), Kalyanpur block has met the National Quality Assurance Standard (NQAS) certified by the Government of India. The CHC has emerged as the first Community Health Centre of Kanpur division by scoring 77 percent marks which has proved to be of high level in providing service and convenience to patients. Saroj Bala Singh, additional director, medical health and family planning lauded the efforts of the in-charge-medical officer and the CHC’s entire staff and made an appeal to maintain the high-level facilities in the CHC.
Chief medical officer Dr Alok Ranjan said all modern medical and health services are available at CHC Kalyanpur. He said the parameters on the basis of which the NQAS certification to CHC Kalyanpur has been done, will be further improved.
“It is a matter of pride for Kanpur district that after tireless efforts by our team in medical and health services, we got the distinction of getting NQAS certificate on the basis of the standards set by the Government of India for which the entire team deserves congratulations" the CMO added.
NQAS is a checklist set by the NHSRC under the Government of India which sets standards for government hospitals for providing services to the patients like maintenance, functioning, service provision, patient rights, inputs, support services, clinical care, infection control, quality management etc.
