Ambuja Cements shares up 0.2% as Sensex rises

Shares of Ambuja Cements Ltd. gained 0.2 per cent to Rs 397.1 in Tuesday's session as of 01:33PM (IST) even as the equity benchmark Sensex traded 308.47 points higher at 61420.91.

For the quarter ended 31-Dec-2022, the company reported consolidated sales of Rs 8036.46 crore, up 10.93 per cent from the previous quarter?s Rs 7244.78 crore and up 4.24 per cent from the same quarter a year ago. The company reported net profit of Rs 434.41 crore for the latest quarter, up 49.46 per cent from the corresponding quarter last year.
