Youth killed in head-on collision of two-wheelers

Panaji: A 29-year-old youth from Bhoma died after his two-wheeler collided head-on with another two-wheeler at Banastarim on Tuesday.
Police said Naik was on his way to Panaji, while Porvorim resident Burhanuddin Kotawala was on his way to Kundaim. Both the riders sustained injuries and were shifted to Goa Medical College where doctors declared Naik ‘brought dead’.
Kotawala sustained major injuries and has been admitted to GMC for treatment.
Naik’s body was handed over to his family after post-mortem.
