Taking a dig at the Congress party over its manifesto ahead of the Karnataka Assembly Elections, Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal on May 02 in Delhi condemned the party’s promise to ban the ‘Bajrang Dal’ and said that the party ‘has lost its mind after seeing the ground reality’. He also stood by and appreciated the decision of the Election Commission while alleging the Congress of making provocative statements during their state poll campaign. “EC has taken the correct decision. The way Congress is making such provocative speeches, shows that the party has lost its mind after seeing the ground reality. They can see that BJP is sure to win in Karnataka. Congress’ mindset has always been this way. They are also trying to threaten the police. The way they want to ban Bajrang Dal, shows that they insulted Lord Ram and Lord Hanuman,” Goyal said. A political slugfest is brewing in Karnataka over both parties blaming each other for making provocative speeches ahead of the state Assembly Polls. Karnataka Assembly Election will be held on May 10, meanwhile, result will be declared on May 13.
