Govt offices timings changed in Punjab, school timings unchanged

Punjab government has decided to change the timings of the government offices. The new office timings will be from 7:30 am to 2:00 pm. The revised timings came into force on May 02. The government officials in Jalandhar reached their offices on time. School timings remain unchanged. Previously, office timings of the state government departments were 9 am to 5 pm.“We are happy with the new timing. All the officers have reached on time and are ready to serve people,” Jalandhar Police Commissioner Kuldeep Singh Chahal said.“We have by-elections here. Preparations already started from 6:30 am. Our teams are involved in that. The schedule of the government offices has been changed, whereas the school timings are the same,” Jalandhar Deputy Commissioner Jaspreet Singh said
