Actor Rajinikanth attended the centenary celebrations of former chief minister NTR held in Vijayawada, andhra pradesh as a special invitee. Speaking on this, he said, “Chandrababu Naidu is a prophet. A visionary political leader. It is because of his vision that hyderabad is now a hi-tech city; It has developed like New York City,” he said.

Responding to Rajini's speech, Andhra Tourism minister and actress Roja said, "Rajinikanth's speech yesterday is laughable. Rajini has great respect as an actor. But, he knows nothing about andhra pradesh politics. Rajini mentioned that chandrababu naidu is a visionary leader who thinks vision 2020, 2047. tdp got 23 seats because of Chandrababu's Vision 2020. When this is the case, no one knows where he will be in 2047,” said Roja sarcastically.

However, chandrababu naidu has condemned this comment of Roja. In this regard, he took to his page and said, “I strongly condemn the ysr Congress party leaders who made derogatory comments against the famous actor Superstar Rajinikanth. Rajinikanth is an epitome of honesty, morality and humanity. He is a good man and is loved by everyone across the country and the world.
