Bihar: Mob thrashes man to death who shot RJD leader Sukhram Mahto in Begusarai

A large number of people thrashed a man to death who shot RJD leader Sukhram Mahto in Begusarai city of Bihar on May 02. The man was identified as Sourav. He shot the RJD leader Sukhram Mahto on May 01. The man was admitted to the hospital where he was declared dead.“Yesterday RJD leader Sukhram Mahto was shot by some miscreants in Genharpur Panchayat. He was admitted to the hospital. We captured three people yesterday and police raided frequently. We got information today morning that some people captured the main accused Sourav and they are beating them. Police reached the spot and saved the accused and sent him to the hospital. The accused was under treatment where he was declared dead,” says DSP Amit Kumar.
