Tiffany Re-opens Flagship Store as 'The Landmark'

April 30, 23 by John Jeffay

(IDEX Online) - Tiffany & Co has re-opened its flagship store on Fifth Avenue, New York, after a revamp costing an estimated $500m.

The setting for the iconic Breakfast at Tiffany's movie (1961) has been christened The Landmark.

A catalog of A-listers - among them Florence Pugh, Gal Gadot, Anya Taylor-Joy, Zoë Kravitz, Michael B. Jordan, Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union, Brooklyn and Nicola Peltz-Beckham, and Dylan Sprouse and Barbara Palvin - were there for the opening last Wednesday (26 April).

Bernard Arnault, the world's richest person and the CEO of LVMH, Tiffany's owner, ordered a revamp of the 10-floor store.

"We got lost in the building," he told the Wall Street Journal in an interview. "Here is a guy getting lost in his own shop. I said we have some work to do on this." He bought Tiffany in 2021 for $15.8bn.
