Mins asked to work for govt, party organisation
Jaipur: Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa held separate meetings with the ministers on Saturday to take their feedback and asked them to strengthen the party organisation in the districts ahead of Assembly elections due later this year. He also held a meeting with Speaker CP Joshi. Randhawa told reporters that he has an old relationship with Joshi, whom he termed as an “encyclopaedia of Congress”.
On the chances of a cabinet reshuffle ahead of the elections, Randhawa said, “We will do it if everyone wants it, but I do not think we have any such plan right now.”
“I have told the ministers that they should work for the organisation as well as the government. Elections are about the organisation and the government. So I am talking to them to strengthen the organisation,” he said. tnn
