Neither is Rohit Shetty's 'Singham Again' a repeat of his earlier Singhams of this franchise, nor is this story of Kareena Kapoor and Deepika Padukone even if you have read that both star in the film. Buzz is, Deepika has only a cameo. The heroine of 'Singham Again' is Kareena Kapoor.
A source tells ETimes, "Deepika appears only towards the climax of the film (as a cop). The lady opposite Ajay Devgn in 'Singham Again' is Kareena Kapoor."

So now you know what both ladies are doing in 'Singham Again'. Remember you read it FIRST and EXCLUSIVE on ETimes. Rohit Shetty, however, remained unavailable for comment.
This is not the first time that Kareena will be seen in a Singham film. For those who've come in late, she played Avni Kamat in 'Singham Returns'.

As for Deepika, Rohit Shetty had revealed during the promotion of his film Ranveer Singh starrer 'Cirkus' (2022) which had Deepika Padukone in a special appearance (and Pooja Hegde in the lead) that Deepika will be joining the cast of 'Singham Again' as a cop.

'Singham Again' is expected to go on floors in August 2023 and aimed at a release on the Independence Day of 2024.
