Man kidnapped from Dugri mkt
Ludhiana: A Hoshiarpur resident was kidnapped by three men over a monetary dispute from Dugri Phase-1 market. It is alleged that the accused took him to Sangrur. He has not been traced yet. Dugri police have lodged an FIR against the accused, Raj Kumar Bhola of Sheikhpura, Harsh Gupta of Pehowa of Haryana and their unidentified accomplice on the complaint of Amarjit Singh of Tajpur Road, friend of the victim, Tarlok Singh, a 40-year-old man from Tanda, Hoshiarpur. Amarjit told the police that his friend Tarlok Singh had come to Ludhiana to meet him. They had gone to the Dugri Phase-1 market when the accused, who knew Tarlok Singh, turned up in a car. He said that the accused asked Tarlok to accompany them to a bank near Dholewal. Tarlok went with them, asking Amarjit to reach the bank on his bike. When Amarjit did not find anyone near the bank, he called Tarlok, who said that the accused had kidnapped him and were taking him towards Sangrur. Police said the accused and the victim have a dispute of over Rs 11 lakh. tnn
