Advisor to CM visits Sports Hub with wife

Kanpur: Avanish Awasthi, advisor to chief minister and former additional chief secretary along with his wife Padma Shri and folk singer Malini Awasthi on Friday visited the Sports Hub and praised the Smart City project and said that a sports complex like TSH should be built in every city of the country.
Divisional commissioner Raj Shekhar accompanied them. They minutely inspected the TSH and sought information about available sports facilities. The commissioner told him that as many as 22 Olympic sports could be conducted there. Avanish Awasthi also did shooting at the shooting range. This is an excellent complex which will not only make the city known in the field of sports, but also play an important role in bringing national and international medals to the players of various sports, he said. He said that he would urge the chief minister to visit TSH Kanpur soon.
