Jailed MLA’s wife demands security for family

Kanpur: Naseem Solanki, wife of Samajwadi Party MLA Irfan Solanki, met commissioner of police B P Jogdand and demanded security for her family members.
She also handed over a letter to the top police official regarding installation of the CCTV cameras at a disputed plot in Jajmau on which Solanki’s alleged rivals are carrying on construction work, though the case is pending in court. Two SP MLAs Amitabh Bajpai and Hasan Rumi too met the police commissioner, along with Irfan’s wife and handed him an application in this regard.
