Kin finally agree to cremate Saini’s body

Jaipur: The family of Mohan Singh Saini, who allegedly hanged himself near the site of protest by OBC communities on the Jaipur-Agra NH 21 near Bharatpur, on Saturday finally took possession of the body for last rites after several rounds of talks held over the past week.
The family on Friday had agreed to a postmortem prior to the cremation of the body. However, the cremation rites were not performed by the family on Saturday even after the postmortem. Sources said that officials were worried that the family and other protesters would refuse to perform the last rites even after Saini’s body was handed over to them.
They also feared that the protesters may take the body to the protest site instead of the cremation ground. tnn
