In Lucknow, man threatens to kill doctor, bomb clinic

LUCKNOW: A physician, who runs a clinic at Matiyari crossing, on Friday lodged a complaint that an unidentified miscreant has threatened to kill him and bomb his clinic.
Dr SB Tiwari of Kalyan Sewa at Matiyari crossing, lodged a complaint with the police requesting his life be protected. Tiwari said he was examining patients when an unidentified man called him on his mobile phone. "He said that he would bomb my clinic by 10 pm and shoot me in my chest. He then hurled abusive words at me," he said.
Tiwari claimed he was incharge of the medical cell of Awadh Unit of BJP.
Station house officer, Chinhat, Alok Rao, said that an FIR under the charges of IPC 507 (criminal intimidation by anonymous communication) and an investigation is underway.
