A man who pleaded no contest to the shooting death of a 26-year-old Ridgecrest man was sentenced Thursday to seven years and four months in prison.
Sidney Maiden, 33, was arrested in February 2022 on suspicion of shooting Junior Enrique Galang, 26. Deputies went to the 4500 block of Drummond Avenue in Ridgecrest to investigate a shooting, but didn’t find Galang.
