New Delhi: In a shocking revelation, it has been found that Pakistani parents are now guarding the graves of their dead daughters from being raped.

The parents have started to put padlocks to their graves, reported Daily Times.

According to media reports, it has been revealed that the necrophilia cases are on the rise in the country.

An ex-Muslim atheist activist, Harris Sultan, who is also the author of the book “The Curse of God, why I left Islam” blamed hardline Islamist ideology for such depraved acts.

On Wednesday, Sultan called Pakistan – a sexually frustrated society in his Tweet.

In 2011, a necrophilia case was reported in Pakistan when a grave keeper identified as Muhammad Rizwan was arrested after he confessed to raping 48 female corpses.

He was a resident of  North Nazimabad, Karachi.

According to National Commission for Human Rights, it is said tat more tham 40 per cent of women in Pakistan have experienced some form of violence at least once in their lifetime.

Few days back, a body of an 18-year-old was found lying near Indus Highway. The body was scorched  and was suspected to have been killed with an axe.
