Man arrested for murdering brother in Ludhiana

LUDHIANA: The Ludhiana rural police on Saturday morning arrested a man for allegedly murdering his brother.
The accused was identified as Baljit Singh of Sodiwala village.
Police said that the accused was in a live-in relationship with a woman and he would often bring her home. They added that the deceased Kuldeep Singh and his daughters used to object to it and asked him not to bring her home.
Cops said that the accused would tell them that it is his house as well and how can they stop him from doing so. They added that accused fought with his brother and allegedly hit him in his private part resulting in his death.
On being informed, cops from Sidhwan Bet police station reached the spot and started probe into the matter.
Police later booked the accused for murder.
DSP Satwinder Singh Virk said that the accused was arrested from Sodiwala area.
