Heavy rainfall lashes Tamil Nadu’s Rameswaram

Heavy rainfall lashed Tamil Nadu’s Rameswaram on the morning of April 29. Earlier, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) had forecast heavy to light rainfall in several states.Southern India will experience light to fairly widespread rainfall with thunderstorms over Telangana, parts of Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala and Puducherry. Meanwhile, IMD also predicted that most parts of India would not experience any heatwave in the next five days.
