IAF chief VR Chaudhary on IAF carrying out successful night-time evacuation

Officials have reported that in a daring operation, the Indian Air Force's C-130J heavy-lift aircraft rescued 121 individuals from a small airstrip at Wadi Sayyidna, located approximately 40 km north of the violence-stricken Sudanese capital city of Khartoum. The rescue operation was carried out on the intervening night of April 27 and 28.
