CM Nitish Kumar asks officials to shift BSDMA office at Sardar Patel Bhawan in Patna

PATNA: The office of the Bihar State Disaster Management Authority (BSDMA) will now be shifted to fifth floor of the Sardar Patel Bhawan from its current location at the Pant Bhawan in Patna.
CM Nitish Kumar on Saturday gave instructions to shift the BSDMA office to the Sardar Patel Bhawan, the headquarters of Bihar Police, after inspecting the chambers of the director general of police (DGP) and other senior police officials at the main building of the Sardar Patel Bhawan.

He also inspected the auditorium, chambers of other officers, and premises of the police headquarters.
“Make all necessary arrangements to shift the BSDMA office at the Sardar Patel Bhawan as soon as possible,” Nitish told the officials after visiting different parts of the Police headquarters.
The CM is expected to inaugurate the BSDMA office on the 5th floor of the Sardar Patel Bhawan on May 4, a senior official of the BSDMA told TOI on Saturday.
BSDMA vice chairman Uday Kant Mishra, chief secretary Amir Subhani, DGP R S Bhatti, home secretary Chaitanya Prasad and all senior functionaries of the BSDMA and state police were present at the Sardar Patel Bhawan during the CM’s inspection.
