Rules okayed for jobs on compassionate grounds for kin of disabled employees

Jaipur: The benefir of compassionate appointments will now be given to the dependents of government servants who are completely disabled or unfit to work.
Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has approved the draft of ‘Rajasthan Compensatory Appointment of Dependents of Permanent Total Disabled Government Servant Rules, 2023’, said officials on Friday.
According to these rules, compassionate appointment will be given to the dependents of personnel in case of their total disability or incapacitation while on duty and on their voluntary retirement.
The benefits of this decision will be given to personnel working in various departments of the state government, corporations, boards, and autonomous bodies under the state government, said officials.
“These rules will serve as a major relief for the families of government servants who are completely disabled or unfit to work ,” said an official.
