Woman crushed to death by dumper in Bengal's Serampore
A woman was killed near Serampore area of West Bengal after she came under the wheels of a dumper on Saturday, police said. The accident took place around 9.15 am when the woman, riding a cycle, was crushed to death by the dumper, they said.Angry locals blocked the arterial Delhi Road on National Highway-2 and burnt tyres in protest, disrupting traffic movement, a police officer said.The driver of the dumper fled from the accident spot, he said. Spl trains between Secunderabad & Varanasi
In a bid to clear the extra rush of passengers during Ganga Pushkaram, the South Central Railway (SCR) will operate four special trains between Secunderabad and Varanasi from April 29 to May 5.The four train services will depart on April 29, May 1,3 and 5. These special trains will stop at Jangaon, Kazipet, Peddapalli, Ramagundam, Bellampalli, Sirpurkagazhnagar, Balharshah, Nagpur, Itarsi, Pipariya, Jabalpur, Katni jn, Satna, Manikpur and Prayagraj Chheoki stations in both the directions.The booking reservation for the special trains opened at 10. 30 am on Friday.

A RRR-fame choreography team member was arrested on Friday after he pushed a 45-year-old security guard to his death from the third floor of a lodge in upscale Banjara Hills’ Indira Nagar area on Thursday night.All that the guard, S Yadagiri, did was to ask the side dancer, Vijay Kumar Manikanta, 29, who was in a drinking stupor along with his three friends from Chennai, to lower their noise levels down so as not to disturb other guests’ sleep.
