BJP to host special broadcast of Mann Ki Baat’s 100th episode

Ranchi: The Jharkhand unit BJP on Friday announced that it has made arrangements for en masse listening of the 100th episode of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s radio show ‘Mann Ki Baat’ across 1,000 different locations of the state.
State unit president of BJP and Rajya Sabha MP Deepak Prakash also said the party will arrange for the listening of the radio show across 100 places in all the 81 assembly constituencies of the state. “Moreover, special arrangements will be made across 900 other locations where people from all walks of life can hear the PM speak. All of BJP’s parliamentarians, Union ministers and MLAs will host special programme in their respective constituencies,” he said.
Besides hosting the program across 1,000 locations, BJP karyakartas will celebrate on Saturday evening in all the prominent roundabouts and streets in cities and towns of the state to mark the 100th episode of the episode.
“We are also making arrangements for special sessions so that labourers, farmers, youngsters, doctors and professors can listen separately,” Prakash said. He said ‘Mann Ki Baat’, which was first broadcast on the occasion of Vijaya Dashami on October 3, 2014, has since provided the nation with landmark campaigns like ‘Swacch Bharat Abhiyaan’ and ‘Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao’ movements. “The programme played a crucial role in creating awareness on environment conservation, promotion of Khadi and galvanising the country’s people in the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic,” Prakash added.
The Congress on Friday took a dig at BJP. “The way BJP’s propaganda machinery is going all out to promote the 100th episode is a testimony that the people are fed up with it. The people of this country are struggling with inflation and it is a matter of shame that the BJP is observing this as a festival,” Congress spokesperson Rakesh Sinha said.
