Mario Rosenstock studied politics and economics at Trinity College Dublin, where he joined Trinity Players, after which he was cast as Dr David Hanlon in Glenroe. He started Gift Grub, which has featured on the Ian Dempsey Breakfast Show on Today FM since May 1999. He lives in Dublin with his wife and two children.
