SP leaders heckle each other in front of Shivpal Yadav

Kanpur: There were tense moments when local SP leaders heckled with each other on stage in front of the party general secretary Shivpal Yadav, who had come to inaugurate the election office of mayoral candidate Vandana Bajpai in Kanpur on Tuesday.
As soon as the senior SP leader reached the stage, the party MLA from Cantt assembly segment Mohd Hasan Rumi and the city president Fazal Mahmood in a bid to sit with the leader allegedly heckled each other. There was also an argument between them. Later, the situation was however pacified with the intervention of other senior party leaders. Meanwhile, reacting over the song made by the BJP on Samajwadi Party national president Akhilesh Yadav, Shivpal said that those who call him goon are goons themselves.
“There is no dearth of false propaganda in BJP. The deposits of BJP candidates will be forfeited in the civic elections. The BJP is furious because of the upcoming defeat,” he said and added, “The BJP will have to face a severe defeat in the civic elections. The people of Kanpur are fed up with the BJP mayor in the last 5 years. SP will get votes of all sections in the elections”. Shivpal Yadav had come to Kanpur on Tuesday to inaugurate the election office of the party’s mayoral candidate Vandana Bajpai.
