Stock market update: Fertilisers stocks up as market rises

NEW DELHI: Fertilisers stocks were trading higher on Thursday at 10:09AM

Nagarjuna Fertilizers & Chem(up 1.77%), Rama Phosphates(up 1.47%), Agro Phos(up 1.20%), Sikko Industries(up 1.13%), Khaitan Chemicals & Fertilizers(up 0.93%), Coromandel International(up 0.83%), Chambal Fertilisers & Chemicals(up 0.78%), Mangalore Chemicals & Fertilizers(up 0.43%), KRISHANA(up 0.38%) and ZUARIAGRO(up 0.34%) were among the top gainers.

Fertilizers & Chemicals Tranvancore(down 2.96%), G S F C(down 2.02%), Madras Fertlizers(down 1.76%), Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers (down 1.64%), National Fertilizer(down 1.20%), Southern Petrochemicals Industries(down 0.51%), Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers(down 0.50%) and Madhya Bharat Agro Products(down 0.08%) were among the top losers.

The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 27.25 points up at 17840.85, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 110.74 points at 60411.32 at around 10:09AM.

Bajaj Finance(up 2.63%), Bajaj Finserv(up 2.04%), SBI Life(up 1.64%), Bharat Petroleum Corporation(up 1.38%), UPL Ltd(up 1.22%), Kotak Mahindra Bank(up 0.98%), ITC(up 0.69%), Bajaj Auto(up 0.61%), Nestle India(up 0.52%) and Reliance Industries(up 0.48%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, HDFC LIFE INSURANCE(down 2.56%), Grasim Industries(down 0.87%), Apollo Hospitals Enterprises(down 0.86%), Tata Consultancy(down 0.63%), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries(down 0.61%), Hindustan Unilever(down 0.6%), Power Grid Corporation of India(down 0.55%), State Bank of India(down 0.38%), Oil & Natural Gas Corporation(down 0.31%) and Wipro(down 0.28%) were trading in the red.
