Tariwada in dark after power cables set on fire

Vasco: Tariwada area of Mormugao was in the dark on Thursday evening after some miscreants set the underground electric cables on fire.
As per information available, the power supply to Tariwada and localities near Baina beach was disrupted for a long time. Efforts were on to restore the power supply till late in the evening.
Agitated people gathered at the site and demanded the police to nab those involved in damaging the cables.
The electricity department officials and police personnel were camped at the site. TNN
