ReutersNEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded positive around 09:59AM(IST)on Thursday in an upbeat market.
Macrotech Developers(up 3.14 per cent), SOBHA(up 1.35 per cent), Godrej Properties(up 0.99 per cent), Phoenix Mills(up 0.83 per cent) and Prestige Estates Projects(up 0.51 per cent) were among the top gainers.
Indiabulls Real Estate(down 0.71 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty Realty index was up 0.73 per cent at 439.15 at the time of writing this report.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 28.9 points at 17842.5, while the BSE Sensex was up 112.83 points at 60413.41.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 26 were trading in the green, while 23 were in the red.
Shares of Rail Vikas Nigam, Vodafone Idea, NHPC, Indian Railway Finance Corporation Ltd. and City Union Bank were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of Barak Valley, Raymond, GE T&D India, MOS Utility and Advitiya Trade India hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while BEML Land Assets, Brightcom Group, A G Universal, Avalon Technologies and Sat Industries hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
