Rajnath Singh to meet Chinese defence minister Li Shangfu on sidelines of SCO event

Union Defence minister Rajnath Singh and his Chinese counterpart Li Shangfu is likely to meet today evening on the sidelines of an upcoming meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO). The defence ministers’ meeting is scheduled this evening days after the Indian Army and the Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA) held the 18th round of military talks on Sunday to ease tensions along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in eastern Ladakh.
