Four teams are tied on eight points, with CSK, Gujarat Titans, Rajasthan Royals and Lucknow Super Giants currently occupying the playoff spots.
Kolkata Knight Riders and Mumbai Indians are level on six points and have to be near-flawless to have any playoff aspirations.
In Match 36 of the IPL season, RCB had won the toss and opted to field first in Bengaluru. Knocks from Jason Roy (56) and skipper Nitish Rana (48) led KKR to 200/5 from 20 overs.
