Finding an apartment can be frustrating for tenants but do you know landlords also have their own set of challenges and concerns? Recently, an incident has gone viral from Bengaluru where a man shed light on the woes faced by the landlords due to the filthy tenants.

Bengaluru landlord gave his apartment on rent to a bachelor, however, it turned out to be a nightmare for him after the tenant vacated the flat. A man shared photos on social media of a flat left by an educated bachelor in a complete state of disarray.

A Twitter user named Ravi Handa shared the photos of the apartment with a caption, This is why people don’t like renting to bachelors. An educated bachelor working in a large MNC did this in Bangalore. The pictures were originally shared on Reddit.

Narrating an awful experience of renting out his two-bedroom property to an educated bachelor working for a large MNC. The renter vanished after paying rent for three to four months, then called to say he had to vacate the flat and wanted his security deposit refunded. He did not, however, want to formally hand over the apartment.

The landlord was skeptical so he went to check out the place and got maybe the biggest shock of his life. Empty alcohol bottles were scattered across the entire place. The windows were wide open, letting birds fly in and defecate all over the place. It was a huge wreck in the bathroom and kitchen. A filthy mattress was in the middle of the living room.

As soon as the images were shared on social media, people were in support of the tenants. One of the users said owners in Bangalore are no saints. First, they extort a 10-month interest-free advance, second, they add clauses in the rental agreement to gobble it up and lastly, they always find funny excuses to withhold a part of it at the time of lease termination.

Another commented, Bachelors usually agree to whatever is being demanded as they share the rent among each other which works out cheap for them. The house owner cuts one month’s worth of rent from the deposit money which is supposed to be used for cleaning and repainting. So what are they complaining about?

In an alleged incident of medical negligence, a pregnant woman in Krishnanagar town of West Bengal’s Nadia district was reportedly forced to deliver her baby on an e-rickshaw after she was allegedly refused admission in the hospital by a doctor citing diagnosis that her due date was still a month away.

According to reports, the woman’s family said that she was suffering from labour pains and was rushed to the Krishnanagar district hospital on Wednesday where the on-duty doctor allegedly refused to admit her after diagnosing that the woman’s delivery date wasn’t due until a month later.

The family claimed that despite pleading and begging the doctor to admit the pregnant woman as she was experiencing critical labour pains, the doctor remained unmoved and refused to admit her and turned them away, following which the family decided to take her back home.

The woman’s grandmother Bhagirathi Biswas told reporters that she had brought her granddaughter to the district hospital as she was experiencing intense labour pains but the doctor there refused to admit her saying that she wouldn’t deliver the baby before the due date.

Following the incident, the bereaved family wrote an application to the Chief Medical Health Office, accusing the doctor of medical negligence that led to the newborn’s death and for risking the mother’s health.

The accused doctor had denied all allegations and claimed that the child was stillborn and had already died inside the womb four days before birth.

The Chief Medical Officer’s office has filed a complaint of medical negligence against the doctor, while the family has also filed a police complaint against her.

UP man fakes his own kidnapping, murder story

In a bizarre and hilarious scenario, a young man in Sambhal district of Uttar Pradesh was arrested by the police after he faked his own kidnapping and murder to stop his girlfriend’s wedding.

According to reports, the accused, identified as Wasim, reportedly staged his own abduction and murder—recorded a video of himself with hands and feet bound with a rope, fake blood on his face and tongue hanging as if he had died—and sent the video to his brother.

After the video went viral on social media platforms, police took cognizance and launched a search for Wasim, and found him alive and well, hiding at his sister’s house. Wasim, a resident of Shabazpur Kala village, was arrested and booked under relevant sections of the law, pending further investigation.

Reports said that Wasim was in love with a girl from his village and even though their families were aware of their relationship, the girl’s family objected to their marriage as Wasim belonged to a lower caste.

Eventually, the girl’s family arranged her marriage to another man and the wedding was fixed for April 24. Wasim came to know about his girlfriend’s upcoming marriage and hatched a plan to stop the wedding by staging his own kidnapping and murder and frame his lover’s family for the act.

On the evening of April 23, Wasim left his home but did not return. During that time, he reportedly shot a video of himself in which he faked his kidnapping and death. Wasim then sent the video to his younger brother Sharik, following which his family headed to the Asmoli police station, showed the video to the cops and accused the girl’s family of killing their son.

Following the family’s complaint, the police launched a search for the ‘missing’ youth and after continuous searches for two days, eventually found him living at his sister’s home.
