Built on MCG and no nod, meat shop, stores sealed

GURGAON: MCG’s enforcement teams have sealed three shops on the old Delhi road and in Sarhaul village on Tuesday following a complaint on the CM window.
One shop was constructed on the MCG land, while a meat shop and a gym were operating in the residential area without requisite permission.
A team led by assistant engineer Sanjog Sharma and junior engineer Rahul Sharma sealed the shops after receiving complaints through the CM window. “We found that two of the commercial units, a meat shop and a gym, were constructed in the residential area, which is in violation of the norms. So acting on the CM window complaint, we sealed the shops. The action was taken in the presence of police,” said the assistant engineer.
The officials said that the enforcement teams have been working across the city to remove encroachment from the government land. The civic body had recently razed the unauthorised road networks being constructed on private land in Gwalpahari.
The illegal road network was built to connect with the unauthorised farmhouses, which were under construction in the area. The length of the road network was around 800 metres.
