Maharashtra’s government’s Integrated Tribal Development Project started Mobile Science Laboratory Project in Gadchiroli on April 26. The project was started for Tribal students of 16 Ashram schools. The laboratory will move from one school to another so that the students can acquire practical knowledge of Science. It will visit 16 Ashram schools on a predesignated route. Mobile Science Laboratory is an imaginatively designed mini-van that accommodates science lab equipment and apparatus like a telescope, resistors, test tubes, and a television to air science videos and documentaries.“We wanted to give scientific education to these tribal children. But since it would be very expensive to start a lab in every school, we came up with the idea of a mobile science laboratory. We have designed this bus in such a way that children get to learn something from every angle. We have implemented this project in 16 schools so far,” said Shubham Gupta, Director, Integrated Tribal
