...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of northeastern Kent

County through 715 PM CDT...

At 637 PM CDT, a strong thunderstorm was located 8 miles northwest

of Clairemont, or 16 miles south of Spur, moving east at 35 mph.

HAZARDS...Penny size hail and brief funnel clouds.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.

Locations impacted include...

Jayton and Clairemont.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Conditions are favorable for the development of weak, brief funnel

clouds with this storm. This type of funnel cloud is harmless, but

on rare occasions they can briefly touch down, producing wind gusts

over 50 mph. If a funnel cloud is spotted move indoors and report

your sighting to the National Weather Service.

Northwestern Sabine Parish in northwestern Louisiana...

Southeastern Shelby County in eastern Texas...

* Until 730 PM CDT.

* At 639 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 7 miles east of

Shelbyville, or 13 miles east of Center, moving southeast at 35

mph.

HAZARD...Golf ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail

damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect

wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...

Zwolle, Converse, Patroon, Oak Grove, Huxley, Noble, Hurstown,

Toledo Bend Reservoir North, Belmont and Jordans Store.

building.

...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 845 PM CDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive

rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of central Texas, including the following

county, Mills.

* WHEN...Until 845 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

Ponding of water on roadways is occurring or is imminent.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

- Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This

will likely cause urban and small stream flooding. Low lying

and/or poor drainage areas will experience minor flooding in

the advisory area.

- Some locations that will experience flooding include...

Goldthwaite, Mullin, Bozar, Caradan and Center City.
