The release of Akhil's Agent is imminent and without any uncertainty. The film will be released this Friday, and it will have its US debut on April 27. With a total running duration of 156 minutes, the film received a UA certificate after being submitted to the censor. Ten days before the scheduled release, the team prepared the first copy, and the director was pushed to complete it quickly by the producer's date lock.

Many people believed that Agent would receive an A certificate, just like Raviteja's Ravanasura did, after seeing the film's violent trailer. However, Agent was issued a Parental guidance, Unrestricted public showing, with about eight edits, and three mutes. Going into more detail, the censor board requested the removal of the beheading's graphics, the phrase "PM" and its subtitle, the word "Nirbhaya," and the hero's face and torso being covered in blood. The board also recommended muting the subtitle text as well as the terms "Chotiya," "Maarhod," and "Fcking."

On Agent, akhil came across as optimistic, thus it would be interesting to watch how well this film does give that PS 2 is doing poorly in telugu states.
