15 Covid cases reported

Ludhiana: On Tuesday, 15 Covid cases were reported in district, taking the number of active cases to 256. Health officials said that 15 persons had influenza like illness, three were reported from OPD, three are healthcare workers, two are contacts of positive patients while two are being traced. On Tuesday, health teams collected 918 samples. In view of the prevalence of seasonal flu at this time, health experts have advised people to get their vaccine doses and follow Covid protocol, including wearing masks, maintaining hand hygiene and avoiding going out in crowded places.
