    The country’s largest automaker Maruti Suzuki reported a 43% in standalone net profit at Rs 2623.6 crore for the fourth quarter ended March, aided by softening of raw material cost and better product mix.

    The company had posted net profit of Rs 1838.9 crore in the corresponding period of the previous financial year.

    Net sales of the company in the period under review went up 21% to Rs 30821.8 crore. Total expenses rose 18% to Rs 29536 crore in the same period.
