Cong attacks Rai over Banna ‘video’ quip

Jamshedpur: East Singhbhum Congress president Anand Bihari Dubey on Tuesday said health minister Banna Gupta has been framed in the “indecent video chat” episode. His adversaries of Gupta in the opposition hatched a plot to malign his character, Dubey said, adding “The woman alleged to be the one in the video clip has posted a video message on social media today saying she was talking to her husband in the video but that has been edited. She also said she never met Banna Gupta,” Dubey said. Coming down heavily on Jamshedpur (East) MLA, Saryu Rai, who has been attacking Banna over the video, Dubey accused him of being a habitual character assassin. Dubey alleged NGO Yugantar Bharati which is a pocket organisation of Rai, is used by the legislator to settle “unethical deals”. tnn
