In the Nifty index, Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(up 2.32 per cent), Nestle India Ltd.(up 1.75 per cent), Tata Consumer Products Ltd.(up 1.67 per cent), IndusInd Bank Ltd.(up 1.43 per cent) and Larsen & Toubro Ltd.(up 1.25 per cent) stood among the top gainers.
On the other hand, Hindalco Industries Ltd.(down 1.16 per cent), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(down 1.01 per cent), Bajaj Auto Ltd.(down 1.00 per cent), Bajaj Finserv Ltd.(down 0.82 per cent) and NTPC Ltd.(down 0.73 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
