Officer’s Rs 80,000 mobile stolen at IPL match in Bengaluru

BENGALURU: An IRS officer working as an additional commissioner in the income tax department has lodged a complaint with Cubbon Park police saying that miscreants stole his mobile phone while he was walking into M Chinnaswamy Stadium on April 17 to watch an IPL match.
BR Ramesh, 58, from Sahakaranagar, said the stolen mobile is worth Rs 80,000.
“The theft took place while I was entering the stadium through Gate no. 6,” he stated in his complaint.
