The tastes of the public have changed, and they now favour epic settings with oversized figures. The tollywood audience now favours either intense drama or large-scale productions with important themes. The era of mass entertainers who followed a formulaic formula seems to be ended.

Telugu film directors have likewise altered their methods and no longer create standard comedies. To find popularity across India, many production companies and directors are turning to epic tales with lots of visual effects. Even tier 2 heroes have begun acting in these kinds of films, not simply top stars. This is demonstrated by the popularity of the films Virupaksha, Bimbisara, and karthikeya 2.

The second half of a movie will typically generate a lot of attention if the first half is a major blockbuster. We are aware that Baahubali and the kgf Series experienced the same issue. The entire country patiently awaited those sequels. pushpa 2 by allu arjun is already generating a tonne of hype. The same cannot be true of ponniyin selvan 2 by Maniratnam, though.
