Karnataka Polls: Congress drives in reverse gear, spoils all the work done by BJP, says Amit Shah

Home Minister Amit Shah addressed a public rally at Devara Hippargi in Vijayapura of Karnataka on April 25. During the event, he said that Congress drives in reverse gear and brings back the situation to square one whatever the BJP government does.Amit Shah said, “We made a big change in the reservation. The Constitution does not allow any reservation on the basis of religion. Congress party gave Muslim reservations to get the vote bank. BJP government increased reservation for Lingayat and Dalit communities by abolishing 4 per cent Muslim reservation.” “On one hand, there’s PM Modi and CM Basavaraj Bommai’s ‘double-engine’ government and on the other hand, there is Congress’ ‘reverse gear’ government. They drive in reverse gear and bring the situation back to square one, wherever the BJP government works…” he added.
