JAISALMER: Four people died in two road accidents in Barmer district on Monday, including three who got burnt alive after two trailers collided head-on on the mega highway in Alpura village near Gudamalani Aduram petrol pump around 4.30am on Monday.
In the second incident, a truck driver was killed in an accident that took place near Devka village under Alsubah Shiv police station area. The deceased has been identified as Kurban Khan, a resident of Rajdal village. In the Gudamalani accident, a fourth person jumped out of the burning trailer and saved his life. He was rushed to a hospital with serious burn injuries. Ramesh Dhaka, SHO of the Gudamalani police station, said a trailer going from Bikaner to Sanchore collided with a truck loaded with tiles going from Barmer's Ramji Ki Gol to Balotra.
