Lucknow records slight drop in Covid cases

LUCKNOW: The city reported a slight dip in the number of daily Covid cases on Monday as 74 persons tested positive for the virus, taking the active cases count to 900.
Among the fresh cases, only one patient was hospitalised at KGMU. Meanwhile, 71 people recovered from the infection in the last 24 hours.
As per the health department, the highest 25 cases were reported at Turiyaganj CHC, followed by 18 at Chinhat CHC, 8 at Alambah and 6 at Red cross CHC. The rest cases were reported from other CHCs. District surveillance officer Dr Nishant Nirvan said, “Most of the infected persons were asymptomatic and are recovering under home isolation.”
On Sunday, 99 people were diagnosed with the infection.
